During class enjoy wine by the glass selected specifically for our class, or buy by the bottle. Snacks and Charcuterie are also available.
No previous experience required. I walk you through the entire process. We’ll be using Stoneware clay. You’ll receive a pre slab rolled piece of clay, which you will then smooth out, cut out, and form into your very own “wine goblet”. You’ll be joining the sides and bottom as well as fashioning and attaching the “vessel”. I provide all tools and materials necessary to create your piece: Instruction, ware boards to shape and manage your clay project. Slab rolled clay, Patterns, tools for smoothing, cutting, finishing and shaping your piece.
We’ll talk about color options and you’ll be able to pick yours!
The pieces created will then be brought back to my studio for drying and bisque & glaze firing. Finished glazed projects will be returned to Bryson City Wine Market for pick up, within 3 weeks of class, allowing time for drying, bisque firing and glazing & glaze firing .
